I was happy to find it does a fine job with tiny area snow clearing. So far ( it is just late Nov ) I’ve used it three times on snowfalls up to about nine” deep. The hardest problem is handling the power rope. That’s why I have confined it to the comparatively little area of the decks. It is sufficiently light to pick up and carry thru the house to get from front to back.

I do not believe it might be a decent fit for my drive or path, simply thanks to the power twine issues and the drifting I am getting. Talking of the power wire, I got a twelve gauge extension twine to be used with the Snow Joe. It is not hard to use, does a good job on six or seven inches of snow at a time, but I will stick to my ten horse-power beast for my drives where I need to get more than thirty or forty feet from the house.

Ordered unit. Received it in under two full days. It is designed well and seems to be well made ( solid with no insubstantial parts ). I unboxed it. Assembled it within a few minutes ( no directions or tools required ). Took it out in the garage, plugged it up, and tested it. Starts up faultlessly. Runs comparatively quiet ( much quieter than anything gas ). We haven’t had any snow yet this year. So I could not test it on exact snow, nevertheless it is good to go! I originally saw it at a reduction shop publicized for $199.

But they were sold out in all the stores in our area inside four days when I got there. So I logged on and discovered them for sale here on Amazon. I was basically ready to get it here and save $10 over the local discount shop price ( including the FedEx delivery charge )! It features a two year guarantee.

So I do not see how it’s possible for you to beat it if you live in an area that get’s a good quantity of snow in winter ( where it can snow more than six inches of snow in one tempest )! This one will move up to ten inches in one pass… And other reviews say it can do that,although you’ll have to back up and go forward again on occasion )

worth the money!

I haven’t got room in the garage for a giant gas engine snow blower because I have got a pop up trailer in there but this is sufficiently small to fit next to the trailer tongue.

It has its restrictions but I was able to clear drifts deeper than the front of the machine by pushing it backwards and forwards into the drifts. As I’ve only had this for a little time, I can not talk to its sturdiness for the moment anyhow, I am happy with it. I was also staggered that it arrived just two days after I ordered it. I never had a snow thrower before and they’re messier than digging.

Dependent on wind direction, the front of you gets blanketed by snow from the fine snow in the air from throwing it out in front of you. I’ve got a bad lumbar region and notwithstanding having to adapt to pulling the electric wire around this is much simpler than digging my 3-car wide drive.
